Choosing the right machine

When you do decide to choose a new machine there will be many options placed in front of you. The important point is to consider what you want from the machine. Is it just a machine so that you can repair your children’s clothes and turn up the trousers as they are too long? Do you want to make you own clothes? Is it that you want to make your own curtains? Are you someone who feels that they have a flair for design and the choice of machine will allow you to develop that?

So many choices and you need to decide. Maybe the answer is to buy a machine that will be generalist and will have a computer program that will allow you to choose the functionality of the machine. You can buy different sewing heads and if the machine allows for them to be interchangeable then you will be able to sew to your heart’s content.

Do however remember that if embroidery is your forte then you will need to buy a specific machine.
